So, I'm not really one to use the advanced audio system that came with the SG I picked up a few weeks ago, but yesterday I thought I'd put a CD in and try it out.
CD was accepted smoothly and everything seemed alright. Then, when I tried to select the CD mode, it skipped over it and the CD mode indicator was 'grey-ed' out a little. Can't play it or eject it.
Check the CD is it scratched or cracked? Is this a new bike or used you picked up? If new don't even mess with it have it fixed under warranty. If it is used try a CD player cleaning kit.
I picked up my new RG and popped a CD in and it started playing for one song then it skipped to Track 276 and other random tracks in the hundreds. Drove it over to dealer...and I'm still waiting for a replacement. Heard quite a few are having issues. Get the dealer involved early so you get in line too get a replacement.
