Have a 05 Eletra Glide Standard,25,000 miles no problems,but have noticed a vibration at about 3,000 rpm in left floor board,Harley checked it out,everything ok,have had it to 110 mph several times to try to see if something would let go ,it has not yet,took a 1,000 mile trip,everything ok.It must be starting to break in I figure.

 

Yep - Honda had a serious frame problem, but, did the repairs under warranty - I suspect there still may be GW's out there which still have a crack or 2. I believe it's the first big touring cycle ever to attempt an aluminum frame - some of the welds weren't done very well (they're USA made, btw).
