If it makes you feel any better the latest thing I read on Goldwings said their alloy frames are cracking. I'd rather have your problem.

Ride well,

Jim

No big deal. They will fix it and you'll be on your way.

I sure hope that HD did your last fluid change... if you did it (or an Indy), and it is leaking from a crack at the plug, I do not think HD would cover that... just sayin'...

I'd still be curious to find out what caused that annoying vibrations at the floorboard. I'd also be curious to know what caused the primary to crack.

Go get a goldwing. They do not have any problems. Old people love them to they ride smooth and do not have vibrations. They have more plastic you can chrome. And they cost just as much as a Harley-Davidson

Have you ordered the chrome interprimary? You will be sorry later if you don't. It would be nice bling!

Be patient, all things mechanical have their problems. It sounds to me like the drain plug was tightened to much, nothing to do with it being a Harley.Hang in there.

Hope you havent changed pipes! Thats harleys new gig, if you need warranty help, the tech wants to know if you have stock exhaust. How many have stock exhaust? Its just another way they get out of customer service. The vibration from after market exhaust causing everything to break. And they have taught the girls who answer the phone to say "thats the first time i heard of that" Its so frustrating.
