Default leaving bike on jack for winter.

I know this has been asked before but just wanted some imputon the subject.

I leave mine on a locked jack w/o any problems. Just enough to keep both wheels off the ground and the kick stand down.

if the wheels are off the ground for a long period the decrease the tire pressure by 25%

from what I understand this is one of the best ways to store a bike

I keep mine off the ground, with abreathable cover over it and a lit light bulb clipped to the jack (so it doesn't come in contact with the cover).

Oh, yeah, I do the Sta-bil and Battery Tender, as well.

Just checked...yup, she's up, filled (proper "Stabil" in the tank), washed and waxed and on the Battery Tender .

Takes up less floor space, makes it harder for critters to get into/on top of, no flat spots on the tires. I don't believe there's any damage possible due to suspension being extended. Has worked well for way too many cold Ohio winters.
