EGC k&N air filter, power commander.wild pigs SO. When I am in 4 or 5 on I roll the throttle fast I get this funny noise pinging? Just a funny noise any guesses what the problem is and the fix also alittle decel popping I have checked exhaust is this all one problem or 2 different ones? bob
Got it too, but mild ping sounds from under the tank. Already running the high octane. Could they not be selling the good stuff as they claim. Might try to octane additive to see if it helps.
I had the pinging also, but I back my timing off on my power commander. I just found what I thought was the range of RPM and % throttle and backed it off -2 or -3 and the pinging is gone. Rode from So. Cal to Sturgis and back with no ping. It's worth a try.
Good Luck Al

Go into the ignition table and it will probably be all zeros for the throttle and rpm ranges. I just changed each box where the approximate throttle and the rpm range and change each one to a -2. I think I went 5 to 60 on the throttle and 2250 to 3500 rpm ranges and try it. That throttle range was just a guess and the rpmwas wher I thought my pinging was.
