The fairings did change. There is now 4 screw holes for the wind deflectors as opposed to 3. So the outer fairing would have 4 nubs with threaded inserts. I believe the other 3 holes line up with the older versions with only 3 holes, but I am not 100% sure. I know that people have put the 4 hole wind deflectors on 07 and earlier bikes and adapted them.

well rocknrod you have an 08 how many holes for the windsheild? I just bought a take-off from an 08 street glide and from the pictures it looks like it has only 3? I hope its only 3! I will include the picture? From what I can see there is only 3??
