I personally used a 6'x12' enclosed uhaul with double axle (for my RK) from South Carolina to South Florida and had no problems at all.If you havethe few dollars go for it. Especially for thedouble axle.I can only speak from my experience..........but it ran smooth.
I use the motorcycle trailer from U-haul all of the time, I have a couple of Ultras and both have been towed (not broken) when I need to go out of town, want my bike but need my truck to haul things while there, the U-Haul trailer works great.... never had any trouble...
I have used Uhaul on two ocassions but both times I used one of their small enclosed trailers.
First time I hauled a suzuki c90 and the second time a harley ultra classic.
Worked great and they had tie downs in them already.
Don't get any damage to the bike from flying debris using the enclosed trailer.
Why would you put a 20k+ bike on a zillion mile one axel trailer.... JUST DONT GET IT......GOOD FRIGIN LUCK!!!!!! JUST MY .02 cents!!!!![sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=forgetit.gif]
I've used the uhaul motorcycle trailer many times without incident. I've also towed the RKC and the Sporty on a 5'x9' ramp trailer without any problems.
