I personally used a 6'x12' enclosed uhaul with double axle (for my RK) from South Carolina to South Florida and had no problems at all.If you havethe few dollars go for it. Especially for thedouble axle.I can only speak from my experience..........but it ran smooth.

H-D's were meant to be ridden not trailered.

I use the motorcycle trailer from U-haul all of the time, I have a couple of Ultras and both have been towed (not broken) when I need to go out of town, want my bike but need my truck to haul things while there, the U-Haul trailer works great.... never had any trouble...

if you look at any uhaul trailer, they all say max safe tow speed is 45.

doesn't keep folks from driving 85 on the interstates

Those are only good for local use. You can't do a one-way rental.

I have used Uhaul on two ocassions but both times I used one of their small enclosed trailers.
First time I hauled a suzuki c90 and the second time a harley ultra classic.
Worked great and they had tie downs in them already.
Don't get any damage to the bike from flying debris using the enclosed trailer.

I've used the uhaul motorcycle trailer many times without incident. I've also towed the RKC and the Sporty on a 5'x9' ramp trailer without any problems.

Before I bought my Kendon, I used those U-Haul trailers whenever I had to do promos at bike shows and stuff. They worked fine, even above 45mph.
