Has any one put a techlusion on a 2008 if so. How hard was it is it a clean install?
It it for better or worse?
How much did you pay for it?
where did you get it from?
What mods are you running with it?
I am wanting to put it on with Rinehart True duals and the S/E ?big sucker snout intake?
I had a techlusion on my VTX (honda Vtwin) 1800cc i really liked it.
I have a Techlusion on my 02 BMW and it went on fairly easy and works well. That being said, I went with a PClll for my 08 RKC. Came with a custom map from Fuelmoto and seems (only had it on for about a week and 60 miles) very well.
If all you are going to do is change the pipes and air cleaner the TFI is all you need. But, if you ever plan on doing anything else I would probably go with the PCIII as you would most likely need a dyno tune at that point. I have run the TFI on two stage one bikes with good success. The thing I like about them is they are so easy to dial in. Sure, you cant get the AFR perfect likeyou can with a PCIII or SERT. But I have been able to get the bikes I used them on to run great. You can buy them from just about anywhere. Get the part number from Techlusion and then vist eBay.
