I received my tour pak for my RG. I am installing it as detachable w Hog Tunes and a Corbin trunkrest to macth the Corbin Solo seat I just got. Here is the question. The Corbin Trunkrest only covers the top portion that opens up. It does not come with a leather/vinyl pad for in between speakers. Corbin doesnt make this and I cant seem to find it in the HD catalogue. Has anyine esle had to deal with this or does anyone haveHD or other part number. Thanks all.
BTW, the Corbin seat is excellent. For those of you getting the Solo seat, I recommend adding an additional washer to the front Latch pin. So you would have, starting at the lowest point, 1 lock washer, 2 regular washers then latch pin. I think that once the seat breaks in a bit, 1 of those washers could be removed.
The '06 EG Classic and newer models come with a seperate pad, 60 USD list. I'll see if I have the PN handy. Don't know what year your TP is; the pad attaches with two bolts.
yes, that is the pad I need but w/o the backrest since i bought the Corbin piece. Argh. I cant believe that HD doesnt just sell that pad w/o the rest of it.
If ya call CORBIN in Hollister, Ca - They might make you one that way the materal will match the Backrest... I have known Mike for over 20 years and he has done a lot of custom stuff for me in the past.. Might be worth a call to ask???
