Default Race Tech Question

Hi my first post i ride 2001 FLHR in the middle of doing the race tech upgrade ,I bought the standard springs 95 KG and the Gold valves . Just wondering about the spacer length.65 mm will get me at 0 Preload.Wondering what everybody else did about spacer size.Tinking between 20-30mm +the 65mm i am kinda stumped. Thanks Lee

You don't say how long the springs you have are, but my 1.0 kg RaceTech springs were much shorter than the stockers. I ended up going with a spacer that gave me a preload about equivalent to that of the stock springs. (spacer length close to the difference in length between the stockers and the RaceTechs...about 4")...... see spacer in attached pic. This is on a RK without the cartridge. CN

Lee C Sorry I missed the call. I was sick (na), I really was out of the office and putting in my new hot job motor in my FXR. Just got the motor together and problems sorted out inharent to this sort of thing sorted out. I was 90 miles away & my cell phone battery dies on my. I was talking to one of our HDForum members at the time. Please feel free to call me tomorrow. I will be heat cycling my motor and waking up them damned yapping dogs next door. Tomorrow is my day!
