I was looking at the skull air cleaner insert it looks like it takes 5 screws. I have a 08 which has one screw in the middle.
So has anyone installed one of these yet? Does it stick on or really use 5 screws?

 

It does use the five screws. A metal bracket is installed with the 1 existing screw the the insert goes on with the five screws. I will be a pain to check the air cleaner but I like the look of the insert

I take it the new bracket is installed on the outside of the football since it does not have 5 holes in it now.

Yes, you will use the five smaller bolts. Along with a bracket that is held in place with your stock air cleaner bolt. The new cover attaches to the bracket with the five smaller bolts. Let me know if you have any other questions.

If you want to get fancy you can put it on without the football cover as well, I made one fit the wife'y old sporty that way, bu that took some extra moding
