Default Cargo trailers

I am looking to buy one and have looked all over the net with not much luck.
I like the American Legend http://www.american-legend.com/models/models_legend.aspbut what I want to know is there any other models out there that any of you would recommend ? any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

My search led me to http://www.championsidecars.com/trailers/and to http://www.bushtec.com/and http://www.californiasidecar.com/trailers.htm

You can't go wrong with any of these,I ended up with the Champion, Colorado Touring Trailer, because it became available at a price I could justify. Used it in every state of the contiguous 48 and it has not disappointed in any way. Champion really stands behind their product. I am aware that Bushtec does also. I suspect the same is true of Escapade.

Just a quick one. I have purchased an 08 FLHTCU and was looking to purchase a trailer myself. I spoke to my dealer and he informed me that it would void my warranty, If I added a hitch and pulled a trailer. I dont know much about this so cant say much still looking into it because I want a trailer bad.

Dealers want to void your warranty for everything these days. Again it goes back to the Mag-Moss act. They would have to to prove that the hitch or towingactually caused the problem which you might be trying to get fixed under warranty. Unless it is written out that the hitch will void your warranty then screw them. Also I would speak with other dealers.

I forgot add that Ihave a Uni-Go single wheel trailer.

I would look into building one yourself. I did and it turned out great. I used a harbor fright trailer kit and built a aluminum diamond plate box for it. It has been on the back of my bike for at least 5 trips. Best addition you can make especially if your better half is traveling with you!

Here is a link to a site that is strictly for trailers and side cars. You can find a lot of information there.

As far as dealers wanting to void your warentee, I would say go to another dealer. I have had a hitch on my bike for at least five years and it has never been an issue.

I agree on the warranty view...the dealer will do ANYTHING to void the warranty.
Do this if you are concerned...
Install the hitch
Pull the trailer as you wish
If you have a problem...remove the hitch and wire harness then take it to the dealer.

I have a piggybacker, cost aroung $600 delivered. I like the american legend but didnt want to pay the cost. I am now holding out for a TimeOut camper trailer....$4000...ugh....
The piggybacker is (IMHO) the perfect starter trailer that servers all the purposes for having a cargo trailer. Functional, looks OK, pulls good, not too mych $$$.
