Default Replacement Battery

Has anyone replaced their battery with an Odyssey PC925LMJ ? Is it worth the hefty price tag of $173? http://www.batteryprice.com/index.as...amp;ProdID=734Thanks,Rick

Don't think it's worth it, There are plenty of other quality batteries that are cheaper.

Haven't used that particular battery, but I have used several Odyssey batteries. Back when gel-cell was new they were the best available & they're still good batteries. However, there are several companies makin' gel & AGM (absorbed glass mat) batteries. AGM is what Harley uses stock now, so as long as you're gettin' one of those technologies look for cc amps & price.

Actually nothin' wrong with lead acid batteries if you don't mind messin' with keepin' 'em filled & runnin' that damn overflow tube. I pay extra just to be rid of that................

I have to agree. Bike batteries need to be robust
but you don't need to spend a fortune to get quality.

Not saying this battery isn't a good one, I just think
you can do just as well with others.

I purchased a new Odyssey PC-680MJ for my 1995 Ultra in December and have been pleased with its performance thus far. I've used Odyssey's in my former BMW's with no problems at all and they tend to last for five or more years.
