Does anyone know where I can get some chrome hardware for my pulley? I looked on the HD site and they only have it for Softails etc... and those bolts are too short.
is this for the street bob or the ultra? i'm guessing ultra since you're posting in the touring section. i would think they would have it in the p&a catalog, but my question is why? its not like you can see it.....
if not in the catalog, look in the parts book, it will give you the specs for the bolt and you can then order it from one of the many chrome bolt vendors online. on the 07s its a 7/16 x 14 x 2-5/8 hex cap w/washer. it doesn't give the grade, but i would guess grade 8.
It is for the ultra. Unfortunately I am very particular and if I am going to spend $$$ on a chrome pulley I might as well put on chrome hardware. I know you can't see it but I know its there.
the part # you want is 43245-00a. this is the socket head #. if you want the hex head bolts, chesk which model softail the other is for and cross-reference it in the p&a catalog.
if your stock bolts are 2 1/4" long, use the 3 above. if the stockbolts are longer, the part # for the '07 softail bolts will/should fit.
you guys need to bribe your hd parts guys w/ more beer. mine will look up and cross-reference part # for me. makes finding all this chit way easier...
