Default Stage 1

I just had the stage 1 kit installed on my 07 EGC. I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to wash my bike. The filter seems to be more exposed than the stock unit. Thanks.

I wouldn't shoot water directly into it, but I have had mine at the car wash a time or two, and I have never had any problems. I have a K&N air filter though, and it is not a paper filter.

What did you do about the Fuel Management System... Hope they (the dealer) didn't talk you into just a download??? If so... They are required to adjust it to EPA Standards and that will still put you running LEAN & Lean = HEAT!

You're going to need the download at the very least, if you changed your AF.

I have the H-D Screamin Eagle A/C on my '07 RKC. The day I brought it home, I rode through 15 miles of heavy, heavy rain and had no issues. I gave the bike a thorough washing the next day, being careful not to direct the hose on the filter. I have not had any issues.

ElectraRick's suggestion of using a plastic bag over the A/C when washing is a good suggestion.
