Up until a few weeks ago, there was only one SE tuner for 08's, now there it the Pro model for 08's. Anyone know if the Pro will make the older tuner obsolete? I'm not sure if I have a choice of two SE tunersnow or if it will just be the Pro model. I won't be racing this bike and the older model tuner was expensive enough forminor performance changes.
I've never heard of the sert before. Who makes them?I have an 04 ultra with an SE race tuner. infinite adjustments can be made with the race tuner. I prefer it
I was trying to decide on which system to install. I went with the SERT with K&N. I'm only a couple hours from Latus Motors in Portland Or. so I made an appointment for the install and dyno tune to be done by dyno guru Mike Stedman. He did a full 3.5 hour tune and I was still unsure if I should have waited for the new upcoming SE tuner. But, before I paid the bill they had me spin a big roulett wheel to see if I could get a discount. I hit "FREE PARTS". I paid for his time to do a premium dyno map and got a free race tuner, backplate and K&N A/C. And the bike runs sweet! How cool was that? I'm glad I went with the exsisting SERT....... I had to post this somewhere!
