Im thinking about purchasing this shift kit for my bike. I was wondering if anyone has it on theirs, if so can you give me the prosand cons...ie does it drag before the floor board scrapes going through turns? etc...

hmmmm I'd be leary of it. the pic appears to show the linkage back towards the inside of the floor boards, so I dont think it would scrape...
how many times have you had to come off the seat, with all yourweighton the boards, for instance chuck hole / 2x4 / fricken speed bumps with no paintetc....you may wind up shifting up or down .. when you _least_ need to.
Have not tried it but on some of my trips, I tend to move my boot toe forward and my boot heel back in an effort to not stiffen up while on road. That set up looks like you could grab a gear when you really didn't want to. But I have no experience with it so I really don't know, I just know what my feet and boots do when I have been on the road for 4 or 500 miles. If you try it, let us know what your experience is. BRO
What would be the advantage of a system like that?
I know the disadvatages, they are obvious, as stated by others.
If you want better/higher quality shifter linkage parts, which is necessary, IMO, then there are other, more traditional options, like theEZ Shift systemfrom EZ Brake. http://www.ez-brake.com/
