Only if you want to donate money to the dealer. All extended warranties of any kind are profit makers for the seller and very few people ever make out with one, it's a proven fact. My 2 year warranty ran out 2 days ago and it never even crossed my mind. There is one funny thing though about my 2 year warranty in that it shows it expires at the end of March 2008instead of 1/28/08 onmy 2006 RK. I remember seeing something a little over 2 years ago before I bought my bike about the MOCO adding an extra 2 months if you bought during a specific time frame but the dealer said they didn't know anything about it when I bought my bike. Maybe it was true.

For the touring group w/o tire and wheel cvg:

1 yr 774.00
2 yr 1019.00
3 yr 1199.00
4 yr 1490.00
5 yr 1896.00

if you want the tire and wheel cvg then add $190.00 to each of these..

BTW.. The above prices are not fixed and the dealer can work with you.. I paid 1350.00 for the 7 year contract but did not get the tire/wheel coverage.. Also the plan has a 50.00 ded "per visit" for warantee work so it's better to let a few of the smaller things build up before getting any work done... The 2 year warantee is going to cover the bike completely w/o the deducatable for the first 2 years... the the ext service plan kicks in for the remaining 5 years... thus total of 7 years etc... etc...

Is this retail or wholesale pricing? I thought I might be able to negotiate better if I know what the dealer actually pays for warranty.

all the above shown prices are retail... dealer cost is about 500.00 less per each..
