I hate to even do this, but... What do people think about a painted inner fairing in pewter pearl color? I like the black contrast right now and the way it looks with black gauges. But, I could be persuaded... I haven't yet swapped the air temp gauge for an oil temp gauge either...
I think it would look much better with the matching Pewter Pearl. It's going to get very ugly for me too as I'm about to start a project for a guy that airbrushes bike tins.
If you like the black contrast you could at least have the inner PAINTED a GLOSS black instead of that unfinished plastic black that they come in. Just a thought.

Hey, that's a great idea. Do a clutch upgrade first, then build the motor to match. Somehow that line or reasoning is hitting a little close to home!!
