[sm=bomb.gif]there i was sitting in traffic minding my own business when this stupid clueless bitch in a Ranger rear ends me. i manged to punch everything but her. stood in frt of her and made her pull off the road before i moved my bike. called the cops. they cited her for reckless driving.tour pak and the rear tour pak brake lite is going ta have to be replaced. i figure 2 to 3 grand by time they find something else. still rideable, performs fine. just pissed. she was insured by allstate so i should be ok.
oh forgot to add all the cliches she used: "i didnt see him", "the sun was in my eyes", traffic was heavy"

Glad your OK, now go get 3 ridiculously high estimates and give it to her insurance company and do the repairs yourself and if theres any extra cash left over have a cocktail and forget about it.

This is my worst fear on a bike. Had a friend run over while sitting in a turn lane. Broke his pelvis in 5 places. Three years ago and he is just starting to fully recover. Sucks that your bike is trashed, but good you are ok. Get the local media involved. Make as big of a stink you can out of it. We need to make the public more aware of bikes.
