Buzz Kanter (the owner) is a member here. I think a few of our bikes have been in there too.

I don't think Buzz comes here anymore.
I don't think he felt very welcome.

I sure would read it as I would want to know what my audience is interested in. Politicians staff people are always listening to talk radio for the same reason.

Not sure about that ??
But I do read AI mag.
I don't subscribe, but I pick up a copy every few months or so at the grocery store.
I feel I get my moneys worth of reading, unlike so mags on the same shelf.

You are correct. Buzz and I had a difference of opinion about Sponsorship. He felt he should be able to advertise for free and I felt he should have to pay the money like the other HDF Sponsors that support this forum. The attitude that "We Need AIM" just didn't cut it.

I think somebody at AIM reads this forum becuase our topics here sure seem to end up in the magazine. I love American Iron magazine. I actually don't subscribe because I look forward to going to B&N every month to get it and American Bagger. Only one complaint: I wish there was less article recycling in American Bagger.

You gotta pay to play no matter who you are. If I let everyone on the air for free, daddy wouldn't make any money. I don't think it was a difference of opinion as much as it was pure business. IF you let him ride for free what about all of your other sponsors that pay? Pantywaist should have paid. Not a big fan of his rag anyway.
What is that biker creedo: ***, Gas, or Grass, nobody rides for free! Good for you Terry.

I think it is a good idea for them to keep an eye on the forums. What better way to keep in touch with the riders and their concerns?
