Be careful not to compare apples to oranges. The DFO and Power Commander don't perform the same tasks. Plenty of info is here in the forums if you do a search.

The DFO only adds fuel. It also does not adjust timing like the PC does. However, they work great for most applications.

DFO Digital Fuel Optimizer. You can tune it yourself. Made a big difference with how my bike runs andmy engine runs much cooler. I paid $165 for mine from Eastern Performance about three years ago.

There are 2 factors to consider: How much money do you have to spend, and what kind of performance qualities you want. Race tuners and Fuel Commanders are the way to go, but on the other hand DFO is not so bad either.
