You'll love it. Don't know a thing about the 103 kit. Mine is bone stock and has plenty of performance for me so far. Iwonder ifmaybe the 08 1/2 models are set a little richer, as mine is fine. Even the dealer techsaid it ran on the high side of power/torque readings on the dynocheck out. I like the tour pack too. Can carry my beer in it.

Congrats on the new ride..... there is no option other than Black....
Just keep a rag and a can of pledge handy so when you stop at red lights you can touch it up..

Have an 08 ABS equipped EGC sitting at the dealers and am awaiting snow melt prior to picking the bike up. It also is in Vivid Blk that has had a HD 103 kit installed. Had the bike fitted witha tour- pak detach kit as well. [/align]Wishing you well and happy trails. I guess great minds think alike.[/align]

I've got a 08 Ultra in Black sitting at the dealer waiting to come but cant get it home because of 6inches of snow in the driveway that is 90ft long and uphill. I've shoveled snow for the last 3 days and have got it down to a 1/2in layer of ice. Come on rain.

my '08 ultra is still stock too. and yup...its black.
will do some modifications next year.
black is the best looking color but it is a tee wad hard to keep clean. keep a soft cloth in the tour pac.......youll use it!
