Is there a way to get sert software updated to a newer version? Need to open a map that was made with newer version or is there a way to open it and then cut and paste?
Yes it is $19.95 and both Adamec HD of Jacksonville and Adamec at the Regency shops are showing as having this disc in stock. Just call beforehand because the system isn't always updated like it should be.
I posted a link below to a thread that will give you 2 different sites to download the latest version of the SERT Software CD. Just look down through the post and there are 2 different links.
okayyyyyy!
I got a question.
I know the sert disk has canned maps and other useful software and data on it.
But don't most people here take the bike in, have it dynoed, and custom map done?
That being the case, why would one need an updated disk, unless the canned map was good for your needs.
Or is there something else on the new disk that would be useful to have?
I have a H.Q. build and get maps from them. I do not use a dyno for tuning because I use a pro tuner from H.Q. that makes my bike closed loop and runs the map I install in the ecm while continuosly tuning the air/fuel. I am changing intakes and need The newest map for my build but it is in a newer version than I curently have.

Newer software has 113" map(s) which will help someone who built a 103 or larger motor have something to ride with and tune; not optimal solution but better than earlier canned maps.
