RE: Anybody run thru a set of Michelin Commanders yet???

These are the specs: 16" Front MT90B16 # 43303-07 $123 /// 16"Rear MU85B16 #43284-07 $150
I am planning on running Michelin Commanders on my Electra Glide, but the recommended rear tire size for mine says MT90 B16 74H. Why are you running an MU85B16 on the rear of yours? Simply your choice, or do I have the wrong rear tire size?

Ok, WTF size rear tire is standard on a 2002 FLHR? The tire on there is a MU85B16 but the Harly site mentioned above says that the 85 is only on 04 FL and later.????
lecomte38:
Standard wheel on a 2002 used the MT90B16 on the REAR! H-D made the change to MU85B16 in 2004.

 \\; My first involvement with Michelin tires was 1967, it took me a few days to realize the Michelin Rubber Plantations in Viet Nam were the beginning of a Michelin tire. \\; No Thanks, you can have all the Michelin tires you want but a lot of good American men died in those plantations and all's they (Michelin) wanted was their money every time we knocked one of their trees down. \\; \\;Oh ya, we're getting as much help from them now as our boys got back then. \\;
 \\;
 \\; I do hope you get your monies worth with your new Michelin tires, but I would also hope you don't buy them anymore. \\; \\;It's a \\;Nam \\;thing! \\; \\; \ \;
