Setting the clock

Setting the clock
It is a 2006 HK radio. YesI read the manual...LOL
This might be a dealer fix...ugh. ButI though I would ask here first. My clock setting seems to be stuck. I press the set button and on the screen it shows:
Time Set
DST ON
New Foundland (this has arrows pointing up& down on either side)
I cannot do anything else...it seems to be stuck. The clock is about 13 minutes fast which is no big deal but I would like to set it to the correct time. All the rest of fucntions on the radio work correctly.
Last Friday Iput 2 pig tails on the battery. One for the battery tender and the other for my heated vest. Could this have caused an issue with the clock setting function??? I have set the time before so this seems odd. Is there a reset button somewhere. I looked through the owners manual and found nothing to help me.
The bike is still under the 2 year warranty so if I have to have the dealer fix it so be it.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

RE: Setting the clock
The radio should hold a charge that will maintain radio settings and clock settings for a short while during battery work.. Once the battery is reconnected you should be good to go but if too much time has passed you may need to discharge the radio so you can reset it. Find the fuse for the radio... or plug and disconnect it... then hold down the power-on button on the radio for at lest 10 seconds... release the button, reconnect the plug or put the fuse back in... powerup the bike electrical system and try again.

Power Button
Same thing happened to me after installing heat demons. I have the on board GPS so I brought it up thinking it needed to update the location . . . nope . . . still stuck . . . 20 mins later, I'm back out there after reading this thread and held the power button for probably 30 seconds. STILL said the "New Foundland" crap . . . 20 mins after THAT, I met some friends to go ride in the mountains. I was fussin and cussin and turned the acc on and SHAZAM . . . Eastern time . . . turnd off DST and the correct time popped up . . . Not sure if it was the whole GPS thing or the power button trick that did it but I'm leaning toward the Power Button . . .
