Default Front Axle Spacers Location Question

I took my front wheel off to mount a new Metzler MME 880 and did not not the orientation of the spacers thinking they were identical. When I went to remount I noticed one was slightly wider than the other, and one had some notches on it. Could someone give me the proper location of the spacers both location on the axle and orientation of these notches?

Bike is a 2006 Electra Glide Classic - Stock Cast Wheel - 16".

And yes.........I will be getting a service manual soon!

Thanks in advance!

The short spacer goes on the brake pedal side, the three notches on the long spacer face the bearing on the gear shift (left) side.

Although your issue is somewhat related to the original post, I would first, introduce yourself to the forum and tell us a little bit about you and your bike, then start a whole new thread concerning this issue your having. You'll probably get a better response that way instead of jumping on a 12 year old thread.........

Welcome to the Forums!

Agree with MJ. Start a new thread and post a pic of how you put things back together and you will get a better answer.
