My 2012 Street Glide front wheel/tire was delivered today. A zero mile take off. Gonna stick it on my 2006.
It has 25mm bearings installed, so my plan is to purchase a 25mm axle and correct spacers. That is, unless someone tells me it would be better to keep MY axle and spacers, and have 1" bearings pressed in.
Any advantage one way or the other changing axle/spacers versus bearings??
Do the 25mm axle & spacers, it's a direct bolt on since the lower legs haven't changed since 2000. The only way to do the 1" axle is to do all custom spacers including the inner axle spacer, if you own a machine shop it might be cheaper, but everything has to be perfect or you'll ruin the bearings.

Did not know that. Thank you for the very helpful reply.
