wheel swap question
Have a 2000 fxd with spokes.
Want the 2006 and later 10 spoke mags.
Is this a direct swap (IE axle thickness, brake rotors and will the wheel fit the narrow glide?)
Or should I just swap the whole front end to make it??

Some of the older bikes had a 3/4" axle. An 06 should have a 1" axle. An 08 and later has a 25mm axle.
You need to look up the axle for each and see what the size is. If they have the same axle size, all you may need is new wheel spacers.

I think you're missing the meat and potatoes of the question...
1.) Will the mag brake set up work on an older 39mm front end?
2.) Will the wheel thickness for the space for the forks?
I know better than to not swap bearings spacers and so on.
