Default LED Tail Lamp
I would like to find a LED tail lamp on my 2000 Ultra. I don't want to convert my signals or anything just the tail lamp. Any suggestions?

There is a tail light kit made by Kuryakyn called the Panacea tail light. I installed one on mt buddies 03 RK. It's a real nice light and is also multifunction if you want to use there turnsignal kits.

I have seen those but not sure if they are plug and play or do you need a load equalizer?

The taillight only is plug and play. You only need the equalizer(s) with turnsignals.

Custom Dynamics sells a lot of that stuff. You can find them just a little bit to the right of this message ----->

I bought my taillight from Custom Dynamics, it is the Heavy Cycles model (see Heavy Cycles - LED tail light).

This is offered as a complete replacement for the existing light assembly and it is EXTREMELY bright, much brighter than cheap LED bulbs or other "drop-in" LED boards, but it is expensive - I guess you get what you pay for!!!

Like you - I only wanted a plain "brake" light with no integrated signals and I am very satisfied with it.

Go with the bright ones. I’ve seen a few that you can barely see the brake light come on in the daylight. I like knowing the car behind me can see my brake light. I put the clear lenses on the turn signals. I think they clean it up a little too.
