believable ??????

the ins co contacted Seminole HD today and cleared the way for the repairs on my tour pak. lower half is bein replaced. now HD tells me 3 to 4 weeks ta get the parts becaude "its a painted piece"???????? a BLACK tour trunk?id think there would be hundreds of em just sitting there in black. not a big deal. its rideable -ill just wait til after bike week but found that odd.

Painted parts are generally 8-10 weeks. Being black, 3-4 is believable

The factory told my dealer the same story when they had to order a tour pack lid for my bike... expect three to six weeks.

It showed up in two.

same boat here buddy , vivid black RK custom I had a little accident and my tank is gonna take between 6-8 weeks, glendale harley davidson, but the guy says once they get the other parts they'll fix the rest of the stuff and let ride the bike till the tank comes in then I can bring it back.
