eglidetrike1: Well to get them registered you have to have the HDI specifications.. To respec US bikes to HDI takes a good deal on $$. That + Shipping expenses makes it a very shakey deal
As some may remember I had a hard time diciding the colour of my new Ultra... HAD the duracell colour on order and I have seen it IRL..
BUT The Crimson Red sunglo/ Candy Red Sunglo twotone haunted me... but it was hard to decide - especially as my only option was to look at pictures
Here in Denmark Ultras don't come cheap... Actually they are areound 110.000$ - so dealer do NOT have a lot of colours in stock.. This year I have only seen the Duracell and the Black
But... finally I pulled the trigger and ordered the red/red bike !
Yesterday the dealer called : "Your new scout has arrived" - well it took me around 1/100 sec to drive the 10 miles from my work to the dealer
WOUW ... AWESOME COLOUR.... Below a few pics - but you have to see it IRL
Now we only need better weather - Can't wait !!!
Does anyone know this guy ? I've never seen so many mis spells and $100,000 for a harley ?????????????
Something smells fishy .....[sm=confused06.gif]
Killerbob - You made a great choice. Beautiful scoot. I'm sure you will enjoy it very much, ride safe. I had the good fortune to visit Denmark a number of times in 1973 and 1974 when I was stationed in Northern Germany (Todendorf) in the U. S. Navy. I have many fond memories of Denmark, the Carlsburg Brewery stands out among them, free beer at the end of the tour. I love the Elephant beer. Have fun with your new bike.
Bob, calm down! I thought you Danes were supposed to be a melancholy bunch.
Seriously, congratulations on your new bike. When they rolled the first Candy Red Sunglo bike outside at my dealership last fall, even the employees stopped what they were doing to go look. It is the prettiest paint I have ever seen.
Congrats on your new bike Bob, hundred and ten grand OUCH
Cruising around Denmark on your new Harley is going to get you More *** Than A Toilet Seat!!
