Road Glide Value
I fully intend on purchasing a 2004-2006 Road Glide this year. Not as a replacement, but in addition to.
My local dealer called me today with 1 in stock.
2006 Road Glide...Black Pearl...pretty much stock...9500 miles...never wrecked...blemish free
He offered it to me for $15,500...out the door. That's taxes and everything.
Question is...is it priced to high???
Should I hold out for a better deal to come along?

That depends on you.you think its to high? Myself It might be just a little, I'd offer him 2,000 less and see what he says, you can always dicker back and forth ( if you havt already )
NADA says it's worth $13750. average retail. $15,500 is a little high. Make him an offer and don't be afraid of walking away. If you were trading a bike in you know they'd be quoting the book, that BS works two ways!
BLACK BOOK show AVG RETAIL @ $14,270.00 - So $15,500.00 OTD would be in the ballpark NOT A DEAL or a STEAL but a fair price
This is the System that most insurance companies use for value - KBB & NADA are more set-up for Light Trucks & Cars...

Your dealer is not giving it away but it's not a bad price if the bike is super clean, and I think you said it was.
As others have said give him an offer you can always bid up if you want the bike.
If I am buying used and I find a cream puff I am usually willing to pay a little more to get it.

To me personally, sounds high. Last year at this time almost to the day, I bought a new 06 Road Glide that was still on the floor with zero miles. Had some options on it and it was also Black Pearl. I paid $15K OTD minus my sales tax and tags. Included freight, setup etc.

If dealers wont move much on price,,,, get all the extras ya might want thrown in.
only costs him 1/2 of what the book says anyways, plus he's gettin rid of a floorplan/interst payment.. they are more likley to deal that way than say take 1-2 G's off the top
