As DogzHog, chappy and the rest have stated - there are a ton of variables (age, record, number of vehicles, homeowner, claim history, location, etc) which make each and every policy different. I went with Progressive (through USAA who no longer provides prime cycle coverage - they subsidize now through Progressive) and got full coverage, $250 ded for $325/year. Just need to pick up the phone and start calling - CWO
I have Dairyland MC insurance. Totalled out a brand new ultra, filed the claim on my bike and a friends bike that was involved and claim was settled in 30 days. My rates did not go up either. I have had insurance with them for quite a few years and have never had a problem. My policy is under right at $500.00 a year. I also have $5000.00 accessories coverage on my policy as well.
I have a full coverage policy with Bros Club (administered by Markel American Ins. Co). I saw an ad for them on Easyriders Mag. They had about the best rate for the coverage I needed. I am paying $412/yr w/$250 ded for comp & collision. They are real easy to work with and you don't ever have to wait a long time to get your call answered like the big companies. I haven't had to file a claim<hopefully I won't ever!>, but until now they have been great. Go to www.brosclub.com, that takes you to the easyriders <paisano publications> hompepage, then click on bros club. Hope this info helps.
