Prepare yourself for the onslaught of "Use the search function" responses.

I had it installed on my 07 Street Glide a little over a month ago. Wish I'd done it sooner. Best mod I've done to the bike hands down.

I didn't really noticeany major falutsbefore but went ahead and got one anyway. It's much smoother andquiter now withnoticably less drive-train jitter/noise. Wasn't bad before but even better now and well worth it. Do it.

Make sure you have a bike lift. I did mine myself...easy but it wouldn't have been too bad to have a 2nd person when I was putting the rear wheel back on. ALSO...might wanna get some xtra anti-seize to spread on the read axel prior to replacing it.

As far as the search function and links go....there is one guy who placed "HOW TO" pics of his IDS job.

Very simple install, took a little over an hour and I cleaned rear wheel while it was off. Made a world of difference on my bike, but mine was extremely noisy.
