I've got em and really like em. Don't buy the cheaper set Harley sells, buy the better (more expensive) ones. I had to cutholes in mine to clear my very low set highway pegs and let the old lady stitch around the new holes, but other than that they've worked well. I take mine off at 50 degrees because they do block a bunch of air from the motor. They are worth their weight in gold when it's cold or rainy.
I have the cheap vinyl set from HD and have found nothing wrong with them. They go on and off really easy and do help out a ton in cold and/or wet weather. Great product.
I got the cheep ones also.I've had no problems with them at all.On and off in seconds. My dealer was having 20% off sale.Made them the best $30 bucks I spent on the bike so far.Yes I take them off over 50-55 deg.

+1 Hell yes.I have the same ones. No probs and big help. I didwant to get the more expensive DesertDawgsor Hog Chaps, but I'm glad I saved my money. These work greatfor much less. They do say 50* limit. I throw them on the night before...ride to work...and throw them in my bag for the ride home. Takes 2 mins to put on and 30 seconds to take off.
kayman...here's the thread below from when I was asking about them.
I'll be honest...I went to HD and threw down $40, then scoffed when they didn't even have any logo orHD tag on them. I mean, it's like 5 bucks worth of thick vinyl and some dude in China stitching them up for like .10/hour....but after using them when it's 30*....deffinately worth it.
I got the Harley cloth wind deflectors. They look good and work great--really help on cold days. IMO, they are probably ok up to60-70 degrees. Warning probably is way conservative. Am I wrong?
Does anyone make soft lowers for the "mustache" guard?I have a 2007 Street glide with the mustache. Harley says that theirs doesn't work with that one.
