Just noticed the headlamp seems to have large space on the right side and sticks out on the right side. Stock chrome trim is even around the fairing. It almost looks like the headlight is aimed left butit seems to shine straight.
I wonder ifmost are like that, curious?

Mine is similar. It works great, so I just left it alone.
I thought it might be typical on some bikes, thought I could see the same thing on a pic some where. I may tear into it if I get bored, got a hunch it may be one of those, " they're all like that", things.

I took the chrome ring off todayto take a look. I ended up turning the side adjuster screw 3 full turns in to straighten out the lamp. I doubt it changed the lamp direction to much. It must have been shining a bit to the left before.
Mine was way crooked from the dealer, noticeably off, but appeared to be aimed correctly. Iwent through the procedure in the service manual and was suprised how off the aim actually was. It now sits straight in the housing and i can see so much better at night.
