I went with the harley xm module, its hidden so I don't have to take it off when I leave the bike.
Same here, I ran a Roady XT for awhile on the handlebar but then decided to install the somewhat pricy module on the HK radio. I still use the Roady in my car and at work but like the convenience of not having to take it off for rain or stops.

Below is an older pix of my install. Got an install kit from Ebay that had the power cord, snap in mount, and antenna. Cost me $5.

I hardwired the power into the fairing by splicing into the cigarette lighter. Ran the Antenna inside the fairing and plunked the magnetic antenna on top of the radio.

Used a short metal bracket painted black and mounted it to the top screw of the collar that holds the front brake handle and attached the mount.

Not waterproof but 2 cable and it's off the bike.

Sirius and XM are in the process of merging,, I'll wait to see what happens after that. Hopefully one service will get you the programming of both companies. Then I can see paying for the HD xm module.. I'll be patient...

Being patient can be good but in the mean time your missing out on good radio. Part of the merger deal is that you won't need new equipment. If you have XM then you will be able to continue to use it for it's life same with Sirius. So don't be so patient

Well, I actually have Sirius in my car and on a boombox/Sportster at work, I love Sirius and Howard Stern.. Just don't wanna buy anything XM until they are the same,, for now CD's and FM are fine.
