Default 05 Road King Custom - FLHRS - Stereo

Been thinking about adding the HD Road Tech radio to my bike. I understand that the kit #76363-03 states it not to be used on this model. I know that the small wind deflector will have to be removed and the chrome housing cover over the handbar will have to be replaced. Does anybody see why this radio wouldn't work on this bike or have any ideas?
Thanks for your input.

I just put the 2wheeltunes stereo on mine and if you can deal with no bass, it's great and perfect for the bike. Very unnoticable.

To remove the wind deflector you will not only need the handle bar clamp cover (readily available on ebay) you will also have to get the FLHR center headlight nacelle trim. The center trim is diferent on the classic and standard than on the custom. Before you install the new pieces PM me. Ive just completed this and made a couple of learning mistakes, one of which cost me an additional 28$. Which by the way is the cost of the center trim [:@]
