Just got my inner fairing painted to match my bike (deep cobalt) and was wondering if anybody has painted the grills for their j&m speakers. I am thinking either painting them chrome or just leaving them black, what do you think would look better? Anybody got pictures if they did paint them?
You could always replace them with a set of chromed grills and mount some tweeters elsewhere, or cover the tweeters...paint the grills and then add the chromed HD bar and shield rings around the outline of the grills? The grills are plastic so as long as you prep them, them can easily be painted. Just make sure you use an anti fish eye product on the plastic when prepping.
