Been looking around for a while here, thought I'd say hello. Just bought a 08' Street Glide last weekend, and it was delivered this weekend.
This was a used 08' (very little) The guy who had it before me took the engine guard off. I looked on HD's website but wasn't able to find the stock guard. It would make me feel more comfortable having it on there, plus I want to add highway pegs down the road sometime. Anyone know where to pick one up cheap, because I just drained my checking account....
Welcome, not sure what neck of the woods ya hail from but check out local swap meets usually you can find some real deals at them. If you think you just drained your checking account now, lemme warn ya bud, its just beginning and the more you chat and listen on this forum, the more it will cost ya! LOL Congrats on the scoot it sure is a sharp one!
welcome, i am a newbie also, they have very nice people here always willing to help. i am going to check my garage, i have the same bike.looks like mine!!!!
Your bike sucks! Just kidding. I got the same bike except mine is 2 years older....that means...my bike sucks. Oh well.
Welcome to the forum and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions.
Re the engine guard: I was thinking of taking my guard off and now I know what it looks like (I think I like it better w/ it on). Thanks! I would search Ebay and the classified section of this forum and you should be set.
