Hi All! I just talked to Dale at 360 brake. I am considering install on a 08 SG. I was going to get abs, won't work w/ 360. Also mentioned if the bike comes with 2 rotors you need 2 360 braking units. But they are coming out w/ a 1' larger diameter unit that will replace 2 calipers. Should be available in may 08, est. cost on larger unit is 1300.00$ Current units are 1000.00 each. Sounds like alot but I was planning on going the 21/18 billet wheel route and matching calipers are 275.00 ea. So using a single larger 360 brake at 1300.00 less 550.00 for 2 calipers I wouldn't need brings the cost to 750.00. Not cheap but sure opens up the front wheel. The bike of the year winner has them on his front wheel. So my ques. is any one on this forum using these or have any experience with them?

I really wanted to go with them on my bike, but after a few people that bought them last year had some issues with them (diffuclty with set up, I think) I started thinking about it a little more. I do like to take the bike on long trips, and the availablity of parts/service has made me think that I might not want to do it just yet....still waiting to see I guess.

Talk to Bart(shooter64) on these......many issues, I too thought this was a nice system, but after further review no way!!!! Best bet is a 13" rotor with a 6 pot caliper for sinlge sided setup.
