Looks good. By the way, did you find a way to get the seat farther foward? The gap doesn't look as big as it did. In fact, I had to look twice to tell there was any gap at all.
New floorboards look great, Mac. Gotta question, though. I notice that the primary chain housing (not the chrome cover, but the engine block itself) on yours is grey, where on my Road King it's powder coated black. Is that a difference between year models, or is it an option? Just curious.
Mine ain't black 'cause I got the Standard. No black on the fins of the motor with chrome on the edges either. I think the slang term is, "blonde motor". It looks different than most of them...if you go to my webpage and go to the Harley page you'll get more pics of it.
I haven't been very good with the camera and my bike, I'll get better with it...
I like it, and it's interesting that it's actually cheaper than the "upgraded" motor. I'm not sure if I'm going to chome all the various piece on the engine or not...for now, there are other things I want to do first.
Mac
P.S. Almost forgot, no, I didn't get any better with the gap on the seat, I just banged on it with a hammer, and that's as good as it gets. I still see it, but I've come to terms with it
If I am lucky I pick it up next Thursday. I will try to find two tails and a Continental Kt and post the pics. The real secret to added HP is, of course, color. Phat red being the phastest [sm=signs007.gif]

my '05 Road King was the standard (FLHR carb'ed) also, and my engine has the black treatment - literally, the ONLY differences between mine & the Classic, were the following (standard on the Classic): laced wheels, wider whitewalls, cruise control, and the seat & bags; everything else was identical between the 2 models, including HP ratings, torque, gas mileage, etc., even between carb and EFI (carb NOT an option on '05 Classic); there may have been some other VERY minor diff's, but I don't recall at the moment, and don't believe so - my brother is looking at a Classic, and we were just comparing the 2 models yesterday.
I choose the regular RK for the carb, and I liked the looks of the saddlebags more than the leather appearance on the Classic.

Mac, I agree with everybody else too .... the new hardware does look really good - not too much, not too little ....
