I wear the waxy moldable ones on longer rides, and if I'm not wearing a helmet. I don't like wearing them in the mountains riding the twisties....for some odd reason they seem to through off my balance and I have more trouble getting set up for curves....weird but true.

I wear them all the time. I palyed music in the clubs for years and the hearing is not what it used to be. Certain sounds are aggravating the ears once you start having hearing problems, wind for me is one of them.

I found that when I wear a half helmet the wind noise from the straps is unbearable and I wear them. When I go helmetless I don't get the wind noise so I don't.

I wear wired ear buds when I ride to hear my tunes. I too have the constant sound of water running,from running boats all my life.If I knew I was going to live this long would have taken better care.

Wear them all the time. Started 5 years ago on trips now I can't stand the wind noise over 45 mph. It's something that once you get used to it's hard to do without.

Buy mine in bulk from the earplugstore.com
