The iPod has been plugged into the aux jack, and works great. I added a Zumo last fall and want the audio directions. I know there are devices to accept two inputs and provide one output. What are you guys using. It would be easy to use the Zumo's mp3 player, but I gotta have my iPod.
Interesting question, never herd of such thing. How is the radio supposed to select which input to put out, either the output is the ipod or the Zumo.
I have a splitter into my aux in my car radio for my Sirius and my Ipod but only one is on at a time into the Aux jack.
I use my ipod mini and my Zumo 550 for tunes and driving directions.
I installed a cable for each, so the one not in use is curled up and around the throttle cable.
I just switch cables for which device I want to use.
Works ok, but having one cable and a switching device would be nice.
I'll check out that Cyclegadgets unit - Thanks for the heads up on that.
I've ordered many things from them and they are a good company to deal with.
It's a long thread, but it will answer all your questions with easy to follow instructions and with pictures.
Good info for theHarley older and newer radios
gives feed back for the use of 2 audio in at the same time with a Zumo.
Who could ask for anything more?

My thinking on it is you could use a headphone "Y" adaptor and plug more than ono device into it. The adaptor creates a path into the sound system. Each device normally has an audio output volume control, so you should be able to balance each device. I see no reason why this shouldn't work.
I have the Kennedy system in my garage begging to be installed. I bought the switcher and the OEM cables that plug directly into my streetpilot and IPOD. These not only provide power out, but audio in. Still has to plug into the AUX jack in the front of the radio though. I would love to find a way to get get the AUX in to plug in inside the bat wing.
