I just got my new HD Zeppelin air seat and hooked it up to the accessory connection under the right side cover as instructed, but after doing this I tried to adjust the seat but nothing happened, then I tried to start my bike, but it would start up and then die, it just won't run!!! I get an error message in the mileage screen and it wasn't until I unplugged the seat that the bike would again start up and run.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem is? I called my local stealer and he instructed me exactly where to plug the seat in, however they were closed by the time I realized something was wrong. Any help or information concerning this issue would be greatly appreciated...
Sounds like your plugging it into the wrong plug, look under the seat it's a grey 4 pin plug. I think your are plugging into the ECM port thats why the bike woun't run.
ya thats the ECM port (been there done that) the acess plug is the same color and configuration but is located under the seat in front of the battery. enjoy the seat

Wow. That's interesting but strange the connectors would be the same config. I'll get this in mind when it's time to tap into the power connector in the future.
