I was at the stealership today working out the details for Stage I install and download. They are having a sale on the big bore kit. Includes the big bore kit, SEAC, SERT and labor to install and tune for $1695.81. That is tax, title and license out the door. What do ya'll think about the deal?
What are you talking,
Is this starting from a 96"?
Replace the juggs and pistons?
Are they taling re-sleeve on your juggs?
Is it a kit?
What's the HD part #?
What about exhaust?
This is starting from a 96". It is a kit with new juggs, pistons & SEAC.It will also include the labor to install these items and a SERT with dyno tuning. As for the pipes, those will be anadditional purchase but will be included in the tune.
be sure you get a quote on your exhaust system before you have the work started. It may sound like a great deal now, but if they try to sell you a 1500.00 exhaust system then the good deal just went down the drain.
Good luck with your build. I hope all works out for you well.
I'll second the , becareful on the price of the exhaust.
That could make or brakeyour deal.
One of the hardest things I've had to do, is to set a limit for the steps I take towards the finished setup. One of the things that makes it so hard is, I put so many miles on the bike that most of the new and newer parts are getting tired by the time I finish with all the goals. Plus the goals seem to change as I go as well. Next thing you know the bike is 10 plus years old.
In a perfect world, ( I don't live in one! ), there would be pleanty of money and time to bring the perfect change to one bike at a time, while riding the last bike that you just made perfect. lol
As for the mufflers... With a download I am limited to SE only. But if I go with the big bore and the SERT I can go with any muffler without affecting my warranty. Vance & Hines are around $400. I asked if I could buy parts online and have them install. If I go that route, I will forfeit my extended warranty. Can't really blame them for that, they gotta make the money somewhere.
