Wanted to share some pictures my painter just sent me. He still has to do the pin striping, final clears and cut and polish, but I was so excited when I saw them, I thought you guys would get a kick out of them.
Believe it or not, this paint is for a 2007 Ultra. The bike has been cleaned up with FLHX saddlebag supports and a new set of RC Components Calypso wheels (21/18).
i'llbe the first to say that looks f'in sweet. give some props to your paint for others in the area. looks like agreat job post the final pics when shes all back together.
My painter lives in Phoenix, I'm in Atlanta. Cost me almost $300 bucks in ground shipping just to get all the tins to him... LOL! I just fell in love with his work once I saw it. He paints and has painted for some of the most popular "big name" custom paint companies out there. I contacted him though his own website though:
Both these sites are Shawns. I just really dig his airbrush style and he was super cool to work with. I can't wait to see what pinstripe color he goes with...
Keep in mind all the parts on an Ultra: front fender, outer fairing, inner fairing, inner fairing cap, lower fairings, gas tank, side covers, saddlebags/lids, tour pak/lid, tour pak light bar, rear fender. I also purchased and had him paint the new tri-bar extension kit for the rear fender (the one that looks like the FLHX rear fender tip).
Having mentioned all that, and without being too specific, It's between 3 and 4K. I also had him totally smooth out the front fender. No holes, lights, rivets or fender skirt.
