I am new to this site so please forgive the neebie for asking old questions. I just bought a 2001 RK Classic with the 1550 kit. It currently has the D&D Fat Kat single exhaust on it and I really want a true dual setup for the sound and looks. I've been looking at the Hooker tuned setup, does anyone run this setup? If so how is it? Recommendations??
I just ordered the Kuryakyn's for my 08 SG. Hope they work out.. Never actually seen them in real life! They looked good in the pics and I trust Kuryakyn... (fingers crossed)...
If I was going to go back to duals it would be V&H with Thunderheader slip-ons and no other...
Rinehart TDs sound good but if you wana wake the dead gotta go with thunderheadersalso v&h headers allow you to swap out different slipons in case you get bored of your old ones. hope this help
Rinehart TD's, PC III as of 03/2008. They make a louder baffle if the stock one isn't loud enough and a quitter one for that matter. I just switched over from a Stage 1 flash, Fullsac TD, V&H Slip on Ovals & Big City Thunder Baffles in each head pipe ( as to not lose bottom end.) There are many choices out there for TD's. It may take you several TD's to find the right one... My advise to you is to buy a name brand like R/hart, V&H, Samson, etc. I wasted time installing the old setup, even though I read the forums and it would have only cost a few $ more to do my current setup form the beginning. No loss of torque and it runs much better low, mid & top end.
