Anyone running a dual set of mirrors?
I have the fairing mounted mirrors and want to add a set of the extended arm mirrors in place of the stock mirrors.
I picked up a set at the swapmeet today only to find that when I mount them, the extended arm is right in line with the center of the fairing mirrors.
Anyone have a part number on what extended arm mirror is required to clear the fairing mount mirrors?
The best, least expensive and easiest thing that I did to improve my rear view and confidence was to add a small stick-on fish eye to each fairing mirror. I trained myself to use them and now I spend much less dangerous time trying to look over my shoulder everytime I merge into traffic or change lanes.
I too haveboth fairing mount and handle barmirrors; the mirror extension kit 91907-87 get the mirrors out of the bar mirrors out of the way of the faining mirrors. I adjusted the fairing mirrors for the blind spots for lane changes.
